Taza Township Essential Services & Operations
The Operations Department of Taza Township is dedicated to providing safe, efficient, and reliable community services while balancing quality, sustainability, and long-term stewardship. Our team ensures that residents enjoy a well-maintained, vibrant, and safe community. Taza has its own emergency service providers but we have mutual contracts with several regions in the event secondary support is required.
About the Tsuut’ina Development Authority
The Tsuut’ina Development Authority (TDA) was established in 2018 under the directive of the Head Chief and Minor Chiefs to oversee all construction activities within the Taza Development. TDA ensures compliance with Taza Infrastructure Standards and Specifications for all engineering, planning, and construction projects, as well as public operations and maintenance.

Meet Taza Township’s New Executive Director
Brenda XXXXX
Taza Township is proud to welcome Brenda XXXXX as our first Executive Director. As a pivotal leader, she will guide the Township’s operations, community development, and public services, ensuring efficient, transparent, and innovative management. Brenda brings extensive experience in local government and strategic leadership, and she will serve as a visible, accessible ambassador—connecting residents, stakeholders, and the Tsuut’ina Nation to advance the shared vision and growth of Taza.
