Who we are:
Taza Development Corp. (TDC) is a joint venture between the Tsuut’ina Nation and Canderel, a leading Canadian real estate company. The Nation is home to just over 2400 community members and adjacent to the southwest quadrant of the City of Calgary, Alberta. Governed by a Board of Directors, the TDC team will oversee the development of three distinct yet interconnected villages – Buffalo Run, Taza Park, and The Crossing. Over the next 20+ years, this 1200-acre community development project will bring significant social and economic prosperity to the region and elevate Tsuut’ina Nation as a key player in the real estate landscape.
About the Role:
We are seeking a warm, outgoing, and community-minded individual from the Tsuut’ina Nation to join our team as a Community Experience Ambassador. This part-time role is based at the new Taza Park Sales & Marketing Centre, where you will be the welcoming face of the Taza project for Nation members, builders, and future residents alike.
As a trusted representative of both TDC and Tsuut’ina Nation, your role will be to share stories, create memorable guest experiences, and help visitors connect with the spirit and vision of Taza. You’ll support community events, engage with local businesses and leaders, and ensure the Sales & Marketing Centre reflects the pride and professionalism of our shared development.

Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of connection: Greet and welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity, ensuring a meaningful experience for all who visit.. Increased interest and participation from Tsuut’ina youth.
- Support Sales & Marketing operations: Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well- functioning Centre, assist with scheduling, basic administrative duties, and ensure interactive technology is operational.
- Champion Tsuut’ina representation: Share knowledge about Tsuut’ina history, values, and vision for the future. Help educate visitors and partners about the significance of the land and the role of the Nation in the project.
- Assist with events and activations: Support planning and coordination of community gatherings, contests, and promotional campaigns in collaboration with Nation partners and builders.
- Facilitate communication: Act as a bridge between Nation members, TDC, builder representatives, and guests—ensuring messages are shared respectfully and clearly.
What We Are Looking For:
- A member of Tsuut’ina Nation who has deep knowledge of local culture, traditions, and language.
- An outgoing communicator who enjoys engaging with people and creating welcoming environments.
- Experience in hospitality, customer service, or community engagement is an asset.
- Comfortable using or learning interactive digital tools and technology.
- Access to reliable transportation to and from the Sales & Marketing Centre.

HOURS OF OPERATION ARE AS FOLLOWS, AND A SUBJECT TO CHANGE:
Monday to Friday 1pm to 7pm
Saturday/Sunday/Holidays 12pm to 5pm
