Meet Alim: Sales & Marketing Centre Lead
As the Sales & Marketing Centre Lead at Taza Park, Alim Kassam is often the first point of contact for visitors. With his approachable demeanor and passion for conversation, Alim excels at connecting with people and guiding them through engaging, in-depth discussions about the community.
In his role, Alim showcases the community’s amenities, shares exciting development plans, and responds to inquiries with enthusiasm. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the Centre and plays a vital role in supporting events throughout the year, ensuring that every visitor feels welcomed and informed. Whether you have questions about the community or are seeking insights into sustainable living, Alim is dedicated to helping you navigate your journey with ease.
Originally from Toronto, Alim moved to Calgary in 2021 and quickly embraced the city’s evolving landscape. With a background in event coordination and client services, he brings a strong focus on creating memorable experiences, operational detail, and meaningful engagement. This expertise allows him to support both curious visitors and prospective buyers with clarity and care.
For Alim, helping visitors understand the bigger picture of Taza Park is what makes his work truly impactful. Rather than focusing solely on sales, he emphasizes guiding people through the vision and possibilities of the community.
He shares, “One of the most important aspects of Taza is that it’s a 50/50 collaboration with Tsuut’ina Nation. Everyone has a say, which is reflected in the integration of nature, the design, and the colours. It’s going to be such a unique area that doesn’t look like any other community.”
Meet Cydnee: Community Experience Ambassador
Cydnee Glasier joined the Taza Park team as a Community Experience Ambassador in June 2025, bringing with her a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Calgary. With a strong background in customer service and a genuine passion for the power of language, Cydnee plays an integral role in crafting welcoming and thoughtful experiences for everyone who visits the Sales & Marketing Centre.
One of Cydnee’s favourite tools is the large-scale community map, which helps visitors visualize how Taza Park comes together as a complete, connected place. She explains, “The map really helps people see how everything connects, from homes and amenities to the natural spaces throughout the community.”
What stands out most to Cydnee about Taza Park is the thoughtful integration of nature into the development. She takes pride in sharing with visitors how the community incorporates several functioning wetlands that naturally filter water before it flows into the Elbow River and eventually the Glenmore Reservoir. This commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship resonates deeply with her, and she enjoys educating others about the ecological benefits of the community.
