Explore unique community design, amenities, new home offerings and a cutting-edge digital experience for homebuyers
TSUUT’INA, AB – May 24, 2025 – Taza Development Corporation (TDC), the 50/50 partnership between the Tsuut’ina Nation and Canadian developer Canderel, proudly announces the grand opening of the Taza Park Sales & Marketing Centre. Located in the heart of Taza Park, this new community hub invites prospective homeowners to experience the bold vision of one of North America’s largest Indigenous-led development projects.
Taza Park is a 470-acre village designed to house approximately 12,000 residents at full build-out. It will include more than 6,500 residential units, over 1 million square feet of commercial space, and a 150,000 sq. ft. pedestrian-oriented Retail Main Street. Residents and visitors will enjoy more than 50 acres of natural space including parks, wetlands, ponds and off-leash dog parks, all designed to foster community connection and support wellbeing.
“The opening of our Sales & Marketing Centre is more than a milestone, it’s an invitation,” says James Robertson, President of Taza. “It signals the beginning of a new chapter where homebuyers can be part of something truly unique: a community shaped by innovation, partnership, and the cultural values of the Tsuut’ina Nation. Taza Park is a place to live, but also a place to connect, belong, and grow.”
Residential Builders and Home Options
The first phase of residential development at Taza Park will be delivered by three respected builders: Brookfield Residential, Crystal Creek Homes, and Homes by Avi. Each builder is offering a unique collection of homes tailored to modern lifestyles, including townhomes, street towns and villas with optional secondary suites and walkout designs.
- Rhythm by Brookfield Residential – 78 townhomes ranging from 2 to 4 bedrooms with rooftop and walkout patios.
- Juniper Ridge by Crystal Creek Homes – 180 villas offering 1 to 4 bedroom options with flexible layouts and multigenerational living potential.
- Aurora by Homes by Avi – 46 street towns, 24 with secondary legal suites, 3-bedroom layouts with no condo fees.

Culture & Connectivity
Taza Park reflects a deep connection to Tsuut’ina culture, with Indigenous design elements woven throughout its public spaces and infrastructure. It is situated along the Tsuut’ina Trail portion of Calgary’s Ring Road, providing convenient access to major city routes including Glenmore Trail, Sarcee Trail, and Highway 8. With views of the Rocky Mountains and adjacency to Weaselhead Flats and North Glenmore Park, Taza Park combines urban access with breathtaking natural surroundings.
“At Taza, we’re building more than homes, we’re building a story of collaboration and self-determination, says Bryce Starlight, VP of Business Development with Taza. “This Sales & Marketing Centre brings that vision to life in a way that reflects who we are as a Nation and where we are headed. It’s an opportunity to share our land, our language, and our legacy through a variety of meaningful ways in this community.”
Taza Park is designed to be more than a residential community, it’s a place of belonging, rooted in connection to the land and guided by the values of the Tsuut’ina Nation. With over 1,000 kilometres of future interconnected pathways, the development encourages active living and access to nature, linking each of Taza’s three villages with nearby regional parks and trails. This thoughtfully planned environment promotes health, wellness, and community engagement, setting a new benchmark for inclusive and culturally grounded development.
A Cutting-Edge Sales Experience
Visitors to the Sales & Marketing Centre will be immersed in an interactive, digital-first environment. The 16 screen display features 3D visualizations to help visitors explore community features, builder floorplans, and available homes in real time. This innovative space also reflects Taza’s cultural commitment — integrating Tsuut’ina language, art, and storytelling throughout.
