WHAT TO EXPECT
Join us at Taza Park for a rare, hands-on encounter with the healing plants of Tsuut’ina land. Guided by a Tsuut’ina knowledge keeper, you’ll discover the medicinal plants that have grown here for centuries and leave with a personalized herbal remedy you’ve crafted yourself. Space is limited. This is an intimate gathering – register early to secure your spot!
Here’s what guests can expect:
- Learn about native plants of the Tsuut’ina land and their traditional medicinal uses, passed down through generations
- Discover the “why” behind the remedies: the cultural, medicinal and environmental significance, the stories, and the relationship between the land and the people who have tended it
- Hands-on creation session guided by the knowledge keeper, where you’ll craft your own herbal remedy using plants native to this land
- Personalized to you, the remedy you leave with is bespoke, not a pre-packaged kit; it reflects your choices and the guidance you received
- Take home your creation, a one-of-a-kind product made by your own hands, rooted in Tsuut’ina plant knowledge
- Connect with the Taza Park community in an intimate setting with limited spots, where genuine conversation is part of the experience
- Leave with a deeper understanding of Tsuut’ina culture, a handcrafted remedy of your own, and a brand-new connection to the community.
Spaces are limited, choose from 5 available one-hour workshops. Each session has 20 spots available.
